Gish - £68,500
This delightful Broads Cruiser, is perfectly situated for living on the water in Central London. It features a well laid out interior with lots of original elements, a good sized living area, 2 cabins and a external seating area. This charming cruiser is perfect for a solo adventurer or a couple looking to embrace a tranquil life on the water.
Gish is a Caribbean 39 river cruiser with a forward cockpit. She was built by F. B. Wilds in Horning, Norfolk in 1970 and was last surveyed in 2021
The saloon is a decent size, lined on 3 sides with large windows and access to the external seated area at the front. It has a freestanding sofa bed, a work desk / dining table, and two comfortable chairs. The galley runs along the Stbdside and has a sink, 4 hob gas oven and under-counter cabinets, with a freestanding fridge and microwave (located in the saloon). The access to the front seating area is from fwd cabin.
With the design of this type of vessel there is a surprising amount of space both internally and externally. There is a wood burning stove in the main saloon and a perfectly sized kitchen for the vessel. A well fitted toilet and shower separates the master cabin from the living area. Both forward and aft of Gish are usable decks and generous gunnel walk ways around the perimeter of the vessel.
The engine is accessible through a hatch on the back deck. The engine would need some work and require a full service.
